Wood Accessory Shelf

We built a laundry shed for a rental property (see it here) and had a ton of wood leftover. Typically after a design project, all leftover supplies get donated, but this time I kept the wood.
The shelf below was quickly built from the wood scraps, stained and hung for additional storage.

The initial mistakes like sanding the edges slightly too much, basically became my favorite part.
The imperfect edges make it!
There’s a big pile, so I think i’m going to have at it again, but this time wider, taller and a lighter stain.
